Examples of Gifts of $100:
- A tank of gasoline for the Community Services van which brings adults in wheelchairs to Adult Day Care every day.
- Art supplies for both Adult Day Care clients and children seen at the Northern Kentucky Children's Advocacy Center for therapy activities.
- A trip to the grocery store to stock up for the year so the Adult Day Care cooking group can sell their baked goods to make money for other group activities (like going to the zoo or going fishing).
- A round trip taxi ride for a family who needs transportation to the Northern Kentucky Children's Advocacy Center to help their child when she/he has been abused.
- Purchasing DVD's so forensic interviews can be recorded at the NKYCAC and used as evidence in court.
- Providing educational materials to families and caregivers of children of abuse and disabled adults.
- Emergency gift cards for food, clothing or other essentials for a family in crisis
- Gasoline for the van to take the Adult Day Care clients back to their homes safely after a day with us.
- Purchasing the monthly birthday cake at Adult Day Care--we like to celebrate happy birthdays!
- Individual sized juice boxes, healthy snacks or pudding cups for children seen at the NKYCAC
- Yarn and knitting supplies for the Adult Day Care clients who knit hats for newborn babies and scarves for the homeless
- A special book or two for children to read and keep when they come to the NKYCAC.
